About The Position

The Assistant Teacher supports daily childcare and classroom operations, promotes an engaging and organized environment, and develops skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The position includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.

Benefits

• Pay of $16.48–$17.12 hourly, based on position, education, and experience.
