About The Position

Assistant Teachers help provide daily care for children while following licensing guidelines and company standards. They maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized; develop their ability to observe, assess, and plan for children; communicate effectively with families; and complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The role is intended for energetic, dependable individuals with a passion for working with children.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.

• Hourly pay of $15.45–$16.05, paid bi-weekly, with Daily Pay options; compensation is based on position, education, and experience.
