About The Position
Childtime is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role involves supporting the daily care of children while maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom. The Assistant Teacher will develop skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating with families. Extensive training is provided on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
Requirements
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Develop the ability to observe and assess children accurately and plan for their needs.
