About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Assistant Guide for its Plum Canyon school. The Assistant Guide supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6, helping create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. The role includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. The Assistant Guide helps children build confidence and develop independence, while working with Lead Guides and other team members to support the classroom community.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach; prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.
