About The Position

Everbrook Academy of Otsego is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care for children and support a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, developing skills in observing and assessing children and planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. The position also includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The role is part-time and follows a Monday–Friday work week.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Passion for working with children.
• Energetic and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to observe and assess children and plan for their needs.
