About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is seeking seasonal Assistant Guides to support Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House classrooms serving children from infancy through age 6 during school holiday breaks. The role helps maintain a calm, engaging classroom where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. Assistant Guides prepare and maintain intentional learning spaces and support individual and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. The position may suit college students home for winter break, experienced caregivers seeking flexible work, or people interested in learning about Montessori education. Strong seasonal team members may be offered full-time employment. The posting also describes benefits available to team members who move into permanent roles.

Requirements

• Experience working with young children, from infants through age 6, in a school, childcare, camp, or nanny setting.
• A positive, flexible, team-minded attitude.
• A love for working with young children.
• Curiosity about the Montessori approach; Montessori experience is a plus but not required.
• Availability during school holiday breaks.

• Help keep classrooms running smoothly and consistently during the holiday break season.
