Daycare Assistant Teacher- Closing Shift
About The Position
The Assistant Teacher supports early childhood education and daycare for children from infancy through preschool at The Learning Experience. The center aims to make early education joyful, engaging, and fun, helping children learn, play, and grow through hands-on activities and a curriculum focused on six ages and stages of early childhood development. The role helps create nurturing, safe, and organized classrooms where children can explore and learn at their own pace. The position requires availability until 6:30–6:45 PM, Monday through Friday. The franchise is independently owned and operated; applications and hiring decisions are handled by the franchisee.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
- Availability to work until 6:30–6:45 PM Monday through Friday.
Nice To Haves
- Early childhood education coursework preferred.
- One or more years of childcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized classrooms in accordance with TLE standards and protocols.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
