Daycare Assistant Teacher- Closing Shift
About The Position
Join The Learning Experience’s early childhood academic childcare center as an Assistant Teacher. The center serves children from infancy through preschool and aims to make early education joyful, engaging, and fun, helping children learn, play, and grow. The curriculum focuses on six ages and stages of early childhood development and uses hands-on activities to encourage children to explore and solve problems at their own pace. This position requires availability until 6:30–6:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by its management.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to meet state and local childcare licensing requirements.
- Availability to work until 6:30–6:45 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Nice To Haves
- Early childhood education coursework preferred.
- At least one year of childcare experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Help deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to support fun learning environments.
- Follow TLE standards and protocols to keep classrooms clean, safe, and organized.
- Monitor children’s growth and development, understand key milestones, and celebrate their progress.
- Build relationships with families and share daily updates and cheerful moments through the mobile app.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a supportive and happy learning environment.
