About The Position
La Petite Academy of Fort Wayne is hiring an Assistant Teacher to help provide daily care for children and support a fun, interactive classroom. The role includes following licensing guidelines and company standards, keeping the classroom clean and organized, and developing skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. Assistant Teachers complete extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position is intended for energetic, dependable individuals passionate about working with children.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
