About The Position
Lally Early Learning Center is seeking two Assistant Teachers. One full-time position and one part-time position are available. This role involves working with children under 13 and requires specific training and certifications. The center offers an Early Wage Access program for employees.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- HS Diploma/GED
- 1 year experience working with children under 13
- 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test and physician’s clearance to work in childcare
- Basic computer skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to relate to diverse groups in the community
- Child Abuse Prevention training (Supervisory Staff)
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
- AED certification
- Blood-borne Pathogens training
Responsibilities
- Work with children under 13.
- Complete 30 hours of childcare-related training every 2 years.
- Obtain and maintain Tuberculosis (TB) Test and physician’s clearance to work in childcare.
- Utilize basic computer skills.
- Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Relate to diverse groups in the community.
- Complete Child Abuse Prevention, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings within 30 days of hire.
