About The Position
Join the Early Learning Center team at Church of the King’s West Esplanade Campus. The teacher cares for and teaches children ages 6 weeks through 4 years in a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment. The role includes implementing a Bible-based curriculum, leading engaging activities, managing daily classroom routines, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized learning environment. The position offers the opportunity to help children learn, grow, and experience God’s love as part of a supportive, Christ-centered team.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 2 years of experience working directly with children in a teaching, substitute, or childcare role.
- Passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and childcare guidelines.
- Friendly, dependable, adaptable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
