About The Position
This position is for the 2026-2027 School Year and involves 187 days of work per school year. The role requires proficiency in reading and writing skills, a demonstrated interest in and positive attitude towards the duties and responsibilities of an instructional assistant, and the ability to assist in teaching reading/language arts and mathematics. All applicants must complete an online application and pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
Requirements
- Must possess an Early Childhood Associate's Degree OR an Associate's degree in any field OR 60 College Credit hours AND 12 early childhood college credit hours OR completion of an early childhood training program OR a High School Diploma/GED AND must provide qualifying scores for the Work Keys test AND 12 early childhood college credit hours OR Completion of an early childhood training program.
- Proficiency in skills of reading and writing.
- Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities required to perform as an instructional assistant.
- Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
