DeLaSalle High School is seeking a highly effective, qualified, and motivated Special Education Teacher for K-8. The ideal candidate will have experience in urban education and be committed to the school's purpose, mission, and vision. Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- A valid Missouri Teacher's Certificate (applicable level-area endorsements preferred).
- Ability to pass an extensive background check.
- Evidence of the willingness and the ability to comply with the standards for ethical and professional performance established by the State Board of Education and DLS HS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong PC skills.
- Organized, self-starter with the ability to adapt to support the best interest of the student.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding students.

- Develop and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
