About The Position
This position is for an Assistant Teacher for the RISE program, serving Kindergarten through 2nd grade students, for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves supporting instruction for 187 days per school year.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or above; OR at least 48 hours of earned college credit; OR passing scores (Silver Certificate) for the Work Keys test for Assistant Teachers.
- Proficiency in skills of reading and writing.
- Demonstrated interest in and a positive attitude toward the duties and responsibilities required.
- Must pass criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
Responsibilities
- Assist in teaching reading/language arts and mathematics.
- Perform duties and responsibilities as an instructional assistant.
