About The Position

Shendy's Swim & Training Centre is seeking an Assistant Swim Instructor to support classes and teach swimmers using their proven Small Steps approach. The role involves building water confidence and real swimming skills, leading safe, structured, high-energy lessons, and encouraging swimmers while celebrating their progress. The Assistant Swim Instructor will communicate professionally and warmly with families, create a fun and positive learning environment, and support the team to ensure the day runs smoothly.

Requirements

• Standard (Intermediate) First Aid & CPR-C
• Bronze Cross
• Positive, confident communicator
• Reliable and team-oriented
• Great with children and families
• Service-oriented with a genuine desire to help others
• Energetic and engaged on deck
• Calm under pressure
• Coachable and eager to improve
• Able to work 1 or more shifts per week
• Minimum availability of 2 days per week required
