About The Position

Journey Home is an intensive Group Home setting for adolescents that specializes in trauma informed care. Journey Home provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff. In this position, you will be able to convey your passion for helping others with a dynamic team by bringing an energetic and positive approach while working with our clients!

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age.
Residential program or mental health facility experience required.
Supervisory experience in Mental Health facility required.
Maintains valid driver’s license as transporting clients is required.
Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
Background and driving record checks will be performed.

Responsibilities

Ensure program safety and compliance with safety and security procedure while on site, and also through rotating on call coverage
Support the professional development of Residential Counselors through training and supervision.
Support all efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
Support staff and programming through your knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Journey Home's Residential Department.
Provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our clients!
