About The Position

Directs and coordinates team members in conducting flexible packaging manufacturing operations which will result in efficiently producing a finished product on a timely basis that meets all the customer's product specifications.

Requirements

• 1–5 years in a similar role or industry preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is minimum
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor staff, as well as delegate tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team coordination and report writing.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes production schedule to plan work of team members and assigns work load to make sure the finished product is produced in a consistent and timely manner.
• Reviews Production Order Forms specifications to insure the correct equipment, properly trained personnel, packaging supplies and raw materials are available to produce a product that meets the customer's specifications.
• Directs team members in equipment production setups.
• During production monitors production equipment, raw materials and directs personnel in performing operations according to sound production methods to make sure a product is being produced and packaged that meets a customer's quality specifications and takes immediate corrective action to eliminate any causes of sub-standard product.
• Insures that Amcor safety policies are understood and adhered to by all team members.
• Train team members in correct operating procedures, safety and quality policy procedures.
• Performs and assists in other tasks, as directed by management.
