About The Position

Based in the Des Moines metro, KRM Development is a fast-paced company that makes building homes easy! Our mission is simple: create a unique building experience that makes people happy. As a team, we strive to embody our six core values: Accountable, Hardworking/Driven, Team Player, Positive Can-Do-Attitude, Understand the Value of Reputation and Continuously Strives for Perfection. We’ve built a reputation of crafting high-quality homes and are looking for high-quality team members to join our mission. The Assistant Superintendent works directly with and is mentored by a Senior Superintendent. This role is designed to develop future Superintendents through hands-on field experience, increasing responsibility, and progressive ownership of projects. The role begins by working alongside the Field Support team and all Superintendents to learn KRM's punch process, quality standards, trade partner relationships, and BuilderTrend documentation. As the Assistant Superintendent demonstrates competency, they will begin taking ownership of their own homes while continuing to complete the punch work on those homes. Over time, responsibilities shift from primarily supporting punch work to managing an increasing number of projects, while continuing to assist Senior Superintendents as capacity allows.
