About The Position

The Assistant Strategist, Business Solutions supports the team in developing media plans, analyzing results, and managing data. The role calls for strategic thinking, problem solving, meticulous attention to detail, integrity, a desire to learn, initiative, and strong communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. The position supports account management, strategic planning, internal relationship management, and training and development. It involves maintaining accounts and deliverables, contributing to media planning and analysis, engaging with clients and internal departments, and building knowledge of the media industry, Horizon Next, and its clients.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day account maintenance, including billing and creative material distribution.
Schedule, attend, and participate in client and internal meetings; capture and distribute recap notes summarizing deliverables and next steps.
Keep the team updated on the status and timing of deliverables.
Collaborate with the team to identify data and billing discrepancies and recommend creative solutions.
Support media plan development, budget tracking, implementation, and maintenance.
Analyze competitive research to inform media strategy.
Pull and manipulate large performance-based datasets to inform the media approach and strategy.
Engage and interact effectively with clients and other Horizon Next departments.
Advance knowledge of advertising, marketing, media, Horizon Next, and its clients.
Participate in Horizon's syndicated and proprietary training sessions.
