About The Position
Banter by Piercing Pagoda is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help the team achieve sales and profit projections. The role contributes to customer satisfaction, develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and supports recruiting and selection. It also involves following and enforcing company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties. The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and career skills, and emphasizes integrity, diversity, teamwork, and advancement from within.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience; preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team members’ standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
- Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
- Develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation.
- Recruit and select team members.
- Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures.
- Perform other operational and strategic duties.
