About The Position

Zales Outlet is seeking a dynamic, driven, and creative Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead the store team. The role contributes to achieving sales and profit projections, delivering total customer satisfaction, developing team members’ skills and product knowledge, and recruiting and selecting team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners.
• Ability to use basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select team members.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties.
