About The Position

Kay Jewelers Outlet is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead the store team. The role contributes to sales and profit goals, customer satisfaction, team-member development, and recruiting. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and management skills, and emphasizes integrity, diversity, teamwork, and advancement from within.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team-member standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select team members.
• Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties.
