About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in ensuring the store follows company policies and procedures, with a focus on customer experience, employee development, and shop operations. The role includes supporting team training, service quality, store upkeep, inventory, scheduling, and daily store operations at Take 5 Oil Change.
Requirements
- Outgoing and positive attitude.
- Motivated and energetic.
- Basic computer skills, including using a keyboard and mouse to enter information.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to use hands to hold, grasp, twist, and pull.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing employees through testing and training.
- Maintain proper communication with the Store Manager and regional managers.
- Help the Store Manager recruit and promote employees.
- Ensure services and customer interactions are of superior quality.
- Inspect store grounds and facilities to ensure they are clean and in good working order.
- Help ensure inventory levels are appropriate and orders are placed properly.
- Assist in preparing work schedules.
- Assign work positions and daily activities.
- Conduct opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with all daily operations.
