About The Position
Banter by Piercing Pagoda is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and team performance. The role helps maintain focus on individual and team standards to achieve sales and profit projections, contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruit and select team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and career skills, and emphasizes integrity, diversity, teamwork, advancement, and promotion from within. The role offers base pay plus sales commission, with final pay determined by experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
