About The Position

Zales is seeking a dynamic, driven, and creative Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help deliver an outstanding customer experience. The role helps maintain daily focus on individual and team standards to achieve sales and profit projections, foster customer satisfaction, develop team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruit and select team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. Zales offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and professional skills, with opportunities for career development and advancement through its promotion-from-within philosophy. Base pay is $16.50–$21.00, plus sales commission; final pay is determined by experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
