About The Position
Zales is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with maintaining focus on individual and team members' achievement of standards to meet sales and profit projections. The role contributes to a total customer-satisfaction atmosphere, develops team members' skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and supports recruiting and selection. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces Company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and role-related skills, with opportunities for career development and advancement. Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
