About The Position

Zales is seeking a dynamic, driven, and creative Assistant Store Manager to help deliver an outstanding customer experience and support a strong, successful team. The role assists the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on individual and team standards to achieve sales and profit projections, contributing to total customer satisfaction, developing team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and recruiting and selecting team members. The Assistant Store Manager also follows and enforces company policies and procedures and performs other operational and strategic duties.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
