About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with management responsibilities, including employee training and development and store operations. The role helps schedule employees, resolve store issues and customer concerns, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, support audits and merchandise stocking, oversee timely guest transactions, and monitor profits through end-of-day procedures and operational indicators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities and store operations.
• Train and develop employees.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues, including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and ensure proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Oversee timely guest transactions and hospitality for store guests.
• Monitor profits through end-of-day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations, and retail waste.
