About The Position
JARS Cannabis is seeking an enthusiastic, driven, and experienced Assistant Store Manager for its Central Phoenix dispensary locations. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates with the Store Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with state regulations, maintain inventory accuracy, and provide exceptional customer service. The role also helps develop and lead employees to achieve performance goals and foster a positive store culture.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of leadership experience; the stated preferred range is 3–5 years, preferably in retail or dispensary settings.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must possess a valid Facility Agent Card from the Arizona Department of Health Services.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 20 or more staff members.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passion for cannabis education and customer experience.
- Must pass a standard background check and a fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver excellent customer experiences.

- Address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Assist with hiring, performance reviews, and team development.
