About The Position

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking an engaged, energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead a team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on helping customers pursue wellness, meeting store sales and productivity goals, developing employees, and supporting a culture of continuous learning. The position also includes maintaining store operations and standards, building community relationships, and taking accountability for results. The work schedule may be flexible to meet business needs, including holidays, weekends, and different locations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and different locations, depending on business needs.
• Valid driver's license.
• 3–5 years of retail experience.
• Enthusiasm and ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
• Ability to support the development of strong teams.
• Passion for the health and wellness industry.

• Retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as direct support to the Store Manager and execute store operations with excellence.
• Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting the team in doing the same.
• Assist with recruiting and developing talent.
• Foster external community relationships that help grow sales.
• Lead with integrity and take accountability.
• Support company training initiatives and participate in continuous learning activities.
• Maintain the store, follow loss prevention standards, process receipts on time, keep shelves stocked, and ensure products are priced appropriately.
• Perform additional duties as required.
