Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager partners with a store manager to oversee the daily operation of an AT&T retail store. The role supports store operations, team management and development, merchandising, product launches, and the achievement of sales objectives, while ensuring customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services. The position also involves outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed. The Assistant Store Manager coaches retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals. AT&T provides paid training to support leadership development. The role calls for strategic perspective, initiative, and the ability to inspire high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
- Prior management experience.
- Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
- Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
- Strategic perspective and the ability to champion change.
- Ability to inspire a team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
