About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with management responsibilities, including employee training and development and store operations. The role supports scheduling, resolving store issues and customer concerns, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining merchandise placement and stocking. It also oversees timely guest transactions and monitors profitability through end-of-day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations, and retail waste.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successfully complete required certification testing upon employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operation is preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with employee training and development and store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues, including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Oversee timely guest transactions to ensure hospitality for store guests.
• Monitor profits through end-of-day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations, and retail waste.
