About The Position

XL Parts and The Parts House (TPH), a Marubeni Group company, is a wholesale auto parts supplier serving the Southern US. The Assistant Store Manager helps with store operations, including expediting parts shipments sent to and returned from distribution centers. The role supports customer service, inventory management, delivery coordination, cash handling, and the upkeep and safety of the store and warehouse.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience or experience in a similar discipline.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Must have a personal vehicle.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• May be required to occasionally lift 30 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive merchandise.
• Assemble and fill customer orders for delivery within a 45-minute window.
• Conduct inventory and cycle counts.
• Schedule contract drivers according to company business needs.
• Answer customer questions and address complaints.
• Perform store opening and closing duties.
• Handle cash, cash counts, and deposits.
• Stock and pull parts.
• Answer phones.
• Keep the store and front counter clean.
• Keep the warehouse clean and provide a safe work environment.
