About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager at AutoZone, you will support daily store operations, energize team performance, and drive sales in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist the Store Manager with team leadership and development, help maintain store performance, and ensure customers receive excellent service. In the absence of the Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager, you will take responsibility for store operations and ensure workflows and company standards are maintained. The role includes supporting inventory and financial performance, maintaining an efficient and appealing store environment, and promoting workplace safety. Requirements

Basic automotive parts knowledge.
Proven leadership experience, with strong communication, decision-making, and sales-driving skills.

Proficiency in managing, analyzing, and reconciling Profit & Loss statements.

Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, supervising, scheduling, training, and developing store personnel.
Maintain clear and effective communication with employees and customers.
Help meet sales targets, maintain accurate inventory levels, and optimize cash flow.
Oversee store operations and ensure efficient workflows and compliance with company standards when the Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager is absent.
Ensure customers receive WOW! service, proactively resolve concerns, and turn complaints into positive experiences.
Lead company initiatives by promoting productivity, training, and retention of high-performing employees.
Maintain operational efficiency through effective merchandising and a clean, organized, visually appealing shopping environment.
Enforce Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use, promote workplace safety, and assist with risk management.
Support budgeting, analyze Profit & Loss statements, and monitor expense controls to maximize profitability.
