Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager partners with the store manager to oversee the daily operation of an AT&T retail store. The role supports store operations, merchandising, product launches, and efforts to meet and exceed sales objectives while ensuring customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services. The Assistant Store Manager also conducts outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed, and coaches retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals. AT&T provides paid training to support leadership development.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
- Prior management experience.
- Well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
- Strategic perspective and the ability to champion change.
- Ability to inspire a team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
- Ability to use professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.
- Ability to take initiative and strive to create results.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the store manager to oversee all aspects of daily retail store operations.
- Assist with merchandising and product launches.
- Help meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Ensure customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services.
- Conduct outreach and promotional activities, including off-site events as needed.
- Coach and develop retail sales consultants to help them meet sales and service goals.

- Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond store walls.
