About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager is a leadership role that supports the Store Manager in store operations and helps ensure a safe, customer-focused environment. The position is responsible for Store Manager duties when the Store Manager is not present. The Assistant Store Manager also assists customers with product purchases, develops customer connections, and maintains a positive attitude.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a supervisor or team lead at a retail store.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise indicated by the hiring manager due to local regulations.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Strong ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 20 pounds.
• Able to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Able to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Able to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes of the workday, such as when assisting with stocking and maintaining inventory levels, using appropriate safety equipment.
• Able to occasionally climb a ladder to store and retrieve materials and/or place or remove signage.
