About The Position

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking an engaged, energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead a high-performing team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on customer wellness guidance, sales and productivity, team development, community relationships, and maintaining effective store operations. The position also supports ongoing education and company training initiatives.

Requirements

Enthusiasm and the ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
Ability to support the development of strong teams.
Passion for the health and wellness industry.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and different locations, depending on business needs.
Valid driver's license.
3–5 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

Directly support the Store Manager and execute store priorities with excellence.
Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting the team in doing the same.
Assist with recruiting and developing top talent.
Build external community relationships that help grow sales.
Lead with integrity and take accountability.
Foster continuous education and support company training initiatives and learning activities.
Maintain the store, follow loss prevention standards, process receipts promptly, keep shelves stocked, and ensure products are priced appropriately.
Perform additional duties as required.
