About The Position
OXXO USA is seeking a dependable and energetic Assistant Store Manager to oversee the daily operations and success of a retail store. The role ensures the store is well-stocked and clean, provides excellent customer service, and handles financial transactions. The Assistant Store Manager also leads and supports Sales Associates, trains and develops employees, assists with recruiting, and helps ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Schedule flexibility is essential, and managers are expected to work peak business hours, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license, transportation to and from the bank and corporate meetings, and valid vehicle insurance are required.

Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain inventory levels by stocking shelves and monitoring supply.
- Ensure the store remains clean and organized.
- Provide exceptional customer service and promptly resolve customer issues and conflicts.
- Handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Develop, lead, and support Sales Associates.
- Assign tasks, follow up, and counsel employees who do not adhere to policies and procedures, have excessive cash shortages, or fail to perform assigned tasks.
- Ensure employees complete training according to corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines; support their continued training, education, and development.
- Help recruit potential candidates.
- Teach and model customer service and suggestive selling techniques.
- Unload deliveries, organize merchandise, and keep shelves stocked.
- Maintain the store image to company standards.
