About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with employee training and development and store operations. The role includes scheduling employees, resolving store issues and customer concerns, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting audits, and overseeing merchandise placement and stocking. The Assistant Store Manager also helps ensure timely guest transactions and monitors profitability through end-of-day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations, and retail waste.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete required certification testing upon employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities, including training and developing employees and handling store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues, including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Oversee timely guest transactions to ensure hospitality for store guests.
