About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with employee training and development and store operations. The role includes scheduling employees, resolving store issues and customer concerns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, assisting with audits and merchandise placement and stocking, overseeing timely guest transactions, and monitoring profitability through end-of-day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations, and retail waste. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete required certification testing upon employment.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience supervising others in a fast food, restaurant, retail, or convenience operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities, including training and developing employees and handling store responsibilities.
• Schedule employees for shifts.
• Resolve store issues, including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and ensure proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Oversee timely guest transactions to ensure hospitality for store guests.
• Monitor profits through end-of-day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations, and retail waste.
