About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager is a leadership role that supports the Store Manager in all store operations and helps ensure a safe, customer-focused environment. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for performing all Store Manager duties when the Store Manager is not present. The role also assists customers with product purchases, develops customer connections, and maintains a positive attitude.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience as a Supervisor or Team Lead at a retail store.
• Must be at least 18 years of age, unless otherwise indicated by the hiring manager due to local regulations.
• Ability to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Strong ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 20 pounds.
• Ability to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes of the workday, with appropriate safety equipment.
• Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and place or remove signage.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
