About The Position
The Vitamin Shoppe is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead a team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on delivering strong store performance, developing employees, engaging customers, and supporting a welcoming environment centered on health and wellness. The Assistant Store Manager also helps maintain store operations and encourages ongoing learning and professional development.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and ability to engage effectively with customers and Health Enthusiasts.
- Ability to support the development of strong teams.
- Passion for the health and wellness industry.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, or different locations, depending on business needs.
- Valid driver's license.
- 3–5 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and execute store operations with excellence.
- Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting the team in achieving its goals.
- Assist with recruiting and developing talent.
- Build and foster community relationships that help grow sales.
- Lead with integrity and take accountability.
- Foster continuous education, support company training initiatives, and participate in ongoing learning activities.
- Maintain the store, follow loss-prevention standards, process receipts in a timely manner, keep shelves stocked, and ensure products are priced correctly.
- Perform additional duties as required.
