About The Position

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in building a team that delivers results through an excellent customer experience. You share responsibility for store operations and maintaining a visually appealing store, while creating a positive environment that develops and engages managers, associates, and customers. The Assistant Store Manager reports to the Store Manager.

The role partners with the Store Manager to drive business results, maximize sales, develop team members, and maintain merchandising and operational standards. The Assistant Store Manager oversees an assigned division of responsibility, performs POS transactions on designated shifts, and carries out management functions when the Store Manager is absent.

The position requires flexible availability to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends. Occasional travel to other store locations may be required. The stated pay range is USD $15.00–$20.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Flexible availability to meet business needs, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to bend, lift, open, and move product and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs., as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years as a Co/Assistant Manager in an apparel business of similar volume.
• A proven track record of exceeding sales and statistical expectations.
• Ability to travel occasionally to other store locations, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to create action plans to achieve results and grow the business.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, selling skills, and operational skills to maximize sales.
• Engage with customers and use company tools to build relationships and brand loyalty.
• Partner with the Store Manager to develop team members committed to creating a great customer experience.
• Oversee an assigned division of responsibility and be accountable for results.
• Support the Store Manager in consistently meeting store merchandising and operational standards.
• Learn all aspects of the business and share ideas to drive it forward.
• Remain composed when facing challenges and unforeseen circumstances.
• Perform POS transactions on designated shifts and execute management functions in the Store Manager’s absence.
