About The Position

Zales is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and team performance. The role supports achievement of individual and team standards, sales goals, and profit projections while contributing to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selecting team members. The position also involves enforcing company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties. Zales provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and job skills, and promotes advancement from within.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
