Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
Assistant Managers at Andy’s oversee all aspects of store operations and ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained. They lead by example to deliver high customer satisfaction, high-quality custard, and exceptional service. They also help maintain Andy’s fun, family-like, professional culture. This is an extremely hands-on position requiring work up front with guests and staff across all shifts, rather than an office-based role. The position offers a clean, family-friendly work environment and opportunities to grow as the company opens additional stores. The stated schedule is 40–45 hours per week, with flexible scheduling and open availability required, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays. The company is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve, and closes early on Thanksgiving Eve.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of proven management experience in food service or a leadership role in a related industry.
- Able to work full-time and maintain open availability, including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic.
- Able to lead by example and uphold high operational standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to coach team members and provide ongoing feedback.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Solid employment track record with positive references.
- Able to meet the stated physical requirements, including standing and walking constantly, and occasionally lifting or carrying up to 55 pounds independently and safely.
