About The Position

Goodwill of the Heartland is hiring a full-time Assistant Store Manager to support the retail team in providing excellent customer service to shoppers, donors, and team members. The role offers opportunities for leadership development and advancement. Assistant Store Managers help maintain an attractive, inviting store with neatly merchandised and reasonably priced products. They assist the Store Manager with training team members, completing documentation and other records, and ensuring the safety of the team and customers. The Assistant Store Manager supervises the team when the Store Manager is absent. The position is based at the Cedar Rapids West Store in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The starting wage is $15.92 per hour, with eligibility for incentive pay based on store performance. The schedule rotates among morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts according to store needs.

Requirements

One year of full-time employment in a related field.
Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Successful completion of background screening, including a valid Iowa driver's license, auto insurance, motor vehicle record, and criminal background check.
