About The Position

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking an engaged, energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead a team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on customer guidance, sales and productivity, team development, community relationships, store operations, and fostering continuous learning in a health and wellness retail environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction; a valid driver’s license; and 3–5 years of retail experience. Retail management experience is preferred. Candidates should be willing to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends, and may need to work at different locations depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Act as direct support to the Store Manager and execute responsibilities with excellence.
• Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting others in doing the same.
• Assist with recruiting and developing talent.
• Foster external community relationships that help grow sales.
• Lead with integrity and take accountability.
• Support company-driven training initiatives and participate in continuous learning activities.
• Maintain the store, follow loss prevention standards, process receipts on time, keep shelves stocked, and ensure products are priced correctly.
• Perform additional duties as required.
