About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and team performance. The role focuses on helping individuals and the team achieve standards, sales goals, and profit projections while contributing to a high level of customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selection. The role also includes enforcing company policies and procedures and carrying out other operational and strategic duties.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
