About The Position

The Vitamin Shoppe is seeking an engaged, energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help lead a team of Health Enthusiasts. The role focuses on achieving sales and productivity goals, developing team members, building community relationships, and fostering a customer-focused environment centered on health and wellness. The Assistant Store Manager also helps maintain store operations, product presentation, loss prevention, and company training initiatives.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm and the ability to effectively engage customers and Health Enthusiasts.
• Ability to support the development of strong teams.
• Passion for the health and wellness industry.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and instruction.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and locations, depending on business needs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3–5 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and execute store priorities with excellence.
• Achieve and exceed daily sales and productivity goals while supporting the team in doing the same.
• Assist with recruiting and developing talent.
• Build external community relationships that help grow sales.
• Lead with integrity and accountability.
• Promote continuous education and support company training initiatives and learning activities.
• Maintain the store, follow loss prevention standards, process receipts on time, keep shelves stocked, and ensure products are priced correctly.
• Perform additional duties as required.
