Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager oversees all aspects of running a retail and food-service location. The role includes hiring, training, and scheduling 20–60 coworkers; food safety; ordering and inventory control; P&Ls; and cleaning and stocking. The Assistant Manager must be willing to work in the kitchen and help maintain a clean, inviting store. Assistant Managers are typically scheduled for 45 hours over a five-day workweek and receive time and a half for additional hours worked over 40 in a week. Kwik Trip describes opportunities to develop into further leadership roles, including Store and District Leader positions.
